YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WORK ALL THE TESTS AND EXERCISES. I will automatically drop the three lowest grades at the end of the semester. IF YOU DO NOT WORK AN EXERCISE OR TEST TEN POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR OVERALL GRADE FOR EACH ASSIGNMENT NOT COMPLETED. ALL TESTS AND ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE OPEN FROM THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. YOU SHOULD ATTEMPT TO WORK AT LEAST TWO CHAPTERS A WEEK. They will start closing two a week after the third week of class. I am making the course available in this fashion so you work at your own pace, get it done and not have a bunch of work left at the end of the semester. This will also allow you to manage your own time instead of me keeping you busy with weekly assignments. The written assignments will be due at mid-term. I will post the assignments and exact date in the near future. CHECK THE CALENDAR AND YOUR EMAIL FREQUENTLY FOR ASSIGNMENTS AND INFORMATION. IF YOU GET LOCKED OUT OF AN EXERCISE OR TEST CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY TO GET BACK INTO THE EXERCISE OR EXAM. IF I DO NOT RESPOND IN 24 HOURS, CONTACT ME BY CELL PHONE OR PAGER. |

ONLINE STUDENTS SEE - HELPFUL INFORMATION - Remember attendance equates to online participation and timely submission of all assignments. CLASSROOM ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL. Attendance and Participation are an important part of this class and will constitute 10% of the student’s final grade. Employment in any area requires “people skill”, which starts here. There is a direct relationship between good grades and attendance. How a student performs here will have an impact on future employment. Many prospective employers are interested in attendance records and participation level. Being late for class or leaving class early with a documented excuse will count as a total absence for the class period. A maximum of three (3) unexcused absences is allowable in any given semester and additional absences will result in a grade reduction or failure of the course. Excused absence may include MSU functions, doctor’s visit, etc. To be excused from class, there must be prior notification and/or signed notification by coach, employer, doctor, etc. *See p. 76-77 in 2000-2002 MSU Undergraduate Bulletin. . |
